A square peg will never fit into a round hole. You could force it, but it's never its home. It's never its station.
STATION: the place or position in which something or someone stands or is assigned to stand or remain.
Getting out of a company means that the party involved is already pregnant with another company and it's time for delivery. Not two months pregnancy, not eight months pregnancy, but nine months pregnancy whereby there's no other choice but to deliver that baby, in this case, getting out of that company. Like a man whose back is against the wall. Like Jabez crying to the LORD.
Getting out of a company means that you've already made calculations and surveys of the requirements of this transaction.
Proverbs 17 : 16; Why is there in the hand of a fool the purchase price of wisdom, Since he has no heart for it?
Luke chapter 14 : 28 - 31 "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?"
Getting out of a company means you've by whatever means obtained ticket out of that current station. In Mephibosheth's case, Jonathan's relationship with David purchased this ticket for Mephibosheth to be able to get out of that company.
There's no vacuum in the spirit realm which is the unseen realm where all things seen emanate from. When a thing is removed, another must replace or else the thing formerly removed will reinstall itself or some thing even worse will. Even while some thing better might also replace, it is always profitable and wise to take charge of this transaction and station a desired thing into this vacuum. A person might get out of a company of mean men into a company of less mean men, that is, Mephibosheth could have had his station upgraded to one not as prestigious as the king's. But I'm sure it would probably not have become a story significant enough to be captured in the Bible today.
Jonathan's voice through the mouth of King David called Mephibosheth out of the company of mean men. From Lodebar to the King's table. Lodebar means "not pasture/pastureless/without pasture". The name alone signifies that this is not a land that manifests fertility. The name "Lodebar" signifies that this is a place where people go away from in search of greener pastures. Yet there are men who's family origin and ancestral house is situated in that place; people like Machir the servant of Saul. I want to put it to you that if Saul hadn't been unfortunate to be rejected by God, he'd still somehow be in Jerusalem because Saul wouldn't have fallen out of glory the way he did and even though he'd be dead, his properties and lands would still be intact and Machir would not have had to move back to his ancestral company of mean men which he conditioned Mephibosheth the grandson of a king into. But by God's grace Jonathan's voice through the mouth of King David called Mephibosheth out of that company of mean men.
The manifestation of Joseph's gift called him out of the company of mean men. From prison to palace. Something must call you out of the company of mean men before you receive unction to get out of it.
It could be you being tired of the status quo of the state of things in your life but I say this to you that something must first call you.
When your spirit hears that calling, it means that the vacuum has been created or is being created in the unseen realm and you must take a stand in your heart, soul, and body to answer that call. Answering this call may take you through strange and unfamiliar processes but I tell you that you'll only fail if you don't make calculations and surveys of the requirements of this transformation. Joseph kept the feasts and holy ways and rituals of the people of Israel while he was in the company of mean men. He kept the covenant of his God. He also never forgot his dreams. He remembered the testimonies. He kept his heart, soul, and body animated for the glorious place his eyes had seen from the unseen realm. He never cut the call out of the company of mean men. This call made his brothers hate him. This call made Potiphar love him. This call got him into prison. This call made the warder of the prison love him. This call ultimately kept his glory intact. It gave him a glorious attitude that could never be bound by any situation. Men who have this call can never be stagnant with the status quo of the company of mean men. They always get out by all means necessary through God, and with God all things are possible.
This call out of the company of mean men is available to every believer through Christ. Ephesians 4 : 11 - 12 says "And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the EDIFYING of the body of Christ..." Edifying here means BUILDING UP. Building up out of what? Building up out of the company of mean men. Building up then into what? Building up into the general assembly of the spirits of just men made perfect (Hebrews 12 : 23).
There's no stagnancy in Christ, but there's vibrancy (Ephesians 3 : 20). There's animation (Romans 8 : 6). There's elevation (Proverbs 4 : 8; James 4 : 10).
